Flea Market Baedeker's & Vintage Travel Guides

Yesterday was the monthly sojourn to the flea market to sell off low-end books . In the "people are strange" department, I tried to trade boxes of hardcover novels for two old travel guides to a regular market dealer who is perpetually down on his luck, but he spurned my offer. Needless to say, I didn't buy his books and carted mine books home.
I did, however, meet some new market dealers who were delightful and charming. It's always a roll of the dice when you don't lease permanent spots at this flea market. Some of the regulars take all of the fun out of the experience.
